Main purpose of the project

Establishment of Bangladesh-Bharot Digital Service and Employment Training (BDSET) Center Project (Manpower)

This is an MoU between the governments of Bangladesh and India. Under this agreement, an Indian grant of Tk 25 crore will be provided under the supervision of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority for the development of ICT industry. A total of Tk 61 crore will be spent on this project out of which the rest Tk 36 crore will be financed from the own funds of the Bangladesh government.

 

Under the Bangladesh-India Digital Service and Employment Training Centre (BDSET) project, specialized labs will be set up at 6 Software Technology Parks, Hi-Tech Parks and Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centers to provide training.

 

About 2.5 thousand trainees will receive training from here in the next two years. Training will be provided on Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Extended Reality and other advanced subjects. In addition, 30 people will be sent to India for advanced training on ICT for 6 months.
